When I was young, very young, I believed that one day I would grow up to be an artist. I wanted to paint lovely oil paintings of sublime landscapes, the sort of things my Mum would really want to hang on her wall, not just stick to the fridge for a few days. I think I even have a few of my early attempts somewhere, one of them, a still life containing a very convincing representation of an orange, was I think my greatest success.
