We were sitting in a cafe when one of us looked out the window and pointed you out as you walked past on the opposite side of the road. I said that I would go and get you and see if you would join us for coffee. I ran across the road and was about to call out to you when you darted into a clothing store. I followed you into the shop and even though it was tiny, you were nowhere to be seen. I then went back to finish my coffee. "That wasn't them," said one of our party, but I replied by saying that I was sure that it was.

Later I asked you if you had been up the road that day and you replied that you had been elsewhere. Never the less, I am still convinced it was you I saw. Although you say you were at another place, my memory of you places you there at that time. I think it is possible for you to be in two places at once, for how else could I have this memory of you somewhere where you weren't?

If I ask you again in 10 years time if you were up the road that day,I think you may well find that it was quite possible that you were !
