Oracle (2008)

Oracle is both a standalone work and a part of an ongoing investigation investigating perception and interpretation of language as represented via form in a virtual environment. The viewer is asked to provide a question to the oracle which is then placed in the amphora at one end of the structure.<

This question is then passed through a series of nodes in a network as individual words which are re-ordered (depending on the current state of the network) and then subjected to web searches for further insight. the viewer will then be offered a text, spoken directly to them by the oracles mouth piece, which they can take away and interpret in their own time and way.
